Per HB 455 (2025), for 2025-26 and 2026-27: home-based/homeschool students ages 5-11 $4,000; home-based ages 12-18 $6,000; private-school students $8,000. Spending caps in effect: extracurricular expenses max 20% of award plus a separate 20% cap for physical-education expenses; curriculum-aligned expenses are generally treated as curriculum, not capped extracurriculars.
