The Secret? It’s Dance.
Specifically, hip hop — the style kids are most excited to try. But this isn't just dancing for fun. Each lesson teaches real technique, history, and vocabulary. Your kids won't just move — they'll learn.
Monday
Learn the Groove — Kick off the week with the foundation of all hip hop movement. Your homeschooler will learn how to groove, explore the history of hip hop dance, and take a quiz to lock in what they learned.
Tuesday
Walk in Place — Build on the groove with a classic hip hop step: the Walk in Place. Then put it together with their first combo. Ends with a quiz.
Wednesday
Home Step + Slide— Two new moves in one day. Learn the Home Step and the Slide, plus a printable worksheet to reinforce the lesson away from the screen.
By Friday, your homeschooler will have learned 6 real hip hop moves, completed quizzes, and done a worksheet. That's a full week of PE, fine arts, and independent learning.
Thursday
Slide Home Combo — Time to connect the dots. Students will combine the Slide and Home Step into a smooth combo, then test their knowledge with a quiz.
Friday
Double Step + What’s Next — Finish the week strong with the Double Step, and get a sneak peek at what's waiting inside the full YouDance hip hop curriculum.
